How to Live a Life of Fulfillment

I am a Transformational Fulfillment Coach. Fulfillment means a lot to me. My three words to describe my life is Faith, Family and Fulfillment. What is fulfillment? Google gives two definitions of fulfillment:

  1. The achievement of something desired, promised, or predicted.

  2. The meeting of a requirement or condition.

Google went into further depths of the first definition saying; fulfillment is satisfaction or happiness as a result of fully developing one’s abilities or character. I absolutely love this part of the definition because this is exactly what I teach my clients and push them to achieve. Fulfillment is being fully developed in one’s abilities or character. The only thing I will replace in this definition is the word happiness. Instead I would replace it with the word contentment.

Contentment is define as a state of satisfaction. To be fully satisfied in one self, career, or relationships is fulfillment. To aim for satisfaction in any area of your life it must have balance. When you are going through life with a feeling of uncertainty then your balance is off. When you begin to feel this uncertainty begin to dig within yourself. The first thing you should do is satisfy yourself. If you are not who you want to be everything else will be affected by it. You are the source of your entire world. What you want to do? Who you want to love? Every decision is made from who you are. If you are in a dysfunctional state of mind; your decisions will be the same. You attract what you are. This being said the first step to fulfillment is being a stable you. To become your truest, best self.

To become your truest, best self you have to be honest with yourself. You have to find the core you. The person you don’t pretend to be. The person you are when no one is watching. Who is that person? And do you like what you see? If you do not like what you see, understand that you have the power to become someone you can fall in love with. Once you find that person you will live life for yourself. You will begin to find fulfillment in all that you do because you will be certain of the person you are which means you will make decision that aligns with who you are. Remeber everything starts with you and a balanced life is a better life.
